Jeff is an avid volunteer of a local AIDS organization, and did similar AIDS work in Uganda during the summer of 2004. He just returned from a charity climb of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania which raised 2,000 US that will used to fund the building of a school for orphans that have lost one or both of their parents due to HIV. In the coming holiday season he will be journeying to Thailand to aid in the rehabilitation of both wild and domestic animals. He is a History major at Reed in his sophomore year and plans to apply to Yale Medical School and, if accepted, to specialize in Pediatrics there. Jeff is gay and has been out to his parents for four years now. His family, friends, and school lovingly accept him for who he is and not who he could be. Morgan is a freshman at Reed and is currently considering Psychology as her course of study. She has lived in Ireland and Israel and hails from Malibu, California. She is returning to Israel this summer to study Hebrew in order to better understand her Jewish Ancestry and enhance communication with some of her family members. At Reed she is an active member of Amnesty International and is in the process of creating a non-sectarian Jewish youth group in Portland, which she plans to lead. When Morgan isn't volunteering with either of these organizations she practices her traditional Irish harp music. Morgan is bisexual with a preference for men. Ira is a lover of learning that was born in Moscow, Russia. In her youth, she traveled throughout Europe, and lived in Russia, Tajikistan, Denmark, Los Angeles, and North Carolina before settling down in D.C. At Reed she is a Math-Physics major, and is planning to continue on to graduate studies at Caltech. She loves learning languages and working with animals, and is training to volunteer with the Oregon Humane Society. She is studying Greek, Latin, and German, speaks conversational Spanish and fluent French, and besides being bilingual in Russian and English, is also bisexual.
